Hello, and welcome to the third part of our series on Irish Cinema, and its connections with America. In this lesson, I will be talking about the movie 'The Quiet Man', made by John Ford, and starring Maureen O'Hara and John Wayne. It's quite a controversial movie, because of its depiction of the Irish to American audience, but it did inspire many more movies in this genre to be made by Hollywood studios.
